China Faith Star is a visual artist living in Olympia, Washington. Her work concerns patterns and repetition, color as energy, creating visionary diagrams representative of the threads that weave together all of existence. Working across disciplines and medium, her aesthetic vocabulary transcends a traditional visual context affecting both physical sense and psychic intuitive spaces. Born 1978, her inspiration stems from intuitive musings and lucid fever dreams, the abundant natural world and it's quantum physical and biological seaming with mans' creative legacy. Her relationship to the micro/macro world, their details contained in the whole, developed out of a personal mythology present since childhood which seeks to expand the evolutionary consciousness of all source energy on the planet. She received her B.A. in Fine Art at The Evergreen State College.
